How well is Ferrari really doing? Results analysed

Ferrari seems to be holding up well in the global recession, according to figures announced this week. Its market share is up, consolidated revenues fell just 7% in 2009 and overall operating profit stood at a juicy €245m. Chrysler offers up to $6,000 in incentives on some cars

If consumers can overcome the connotations that ride shotgun with buying a new car from an automaker in bankruptcy, there are some deals to be had on Chrysler vehicles. The company said Wednesday that it will offer up to $6,000 in incentives on some of its new cars in May in the wake of a 48 percent sales drop in April. The incentives run through June 1.

Plans To Drop Congestion Charge Pay-By Text

TEXT messages are to be dropped as a way for drivers to pay for their congestion charge under plans being considered by Transport for London (TfL). A new Smartphone app may replace text messages, which make up around 400 out of the 130,000 congestion charge payments made each day. TfL, which is launching a six-week consultation ending on September 12, describes texts as an "under-used SMS payment service" and claims the app would enable drivers to carry out a wider range of tasks.
