Providing the basic functionality of a mobile telephone, the GM 12 sends and receives SMS (Short Message Service), handles speech calls and the sending of DTMF tones. Ease of integration The GM 12 is controlled by AT commands via a computer or microprocessor connected to the module´s serial interface. A wide voltage range ensures flexibility in choice of power supply. Together with its standard connectors, both integration and control of the GM 12 in an application is very straight forward. Durable design Designed to be built in, the GM 12´s tough plastic body helps it withstand the demands of many different operating environments. The case also features two external through holes for mounted installations and a hatch for direct access to the SIM card. In addition, the standard connectors are all positioned on one side for ease of installation. Broad range of applications The GM 12 can be successfully used in the areas of Intelligent Transport Systems, Telemetry including vending, meter-reading, security and leased machines, as well as many other telephony related applications. Based on the same Delta II platform as the Chevrolet Cruze and Opel/Vauxhall Astra, it is also visually related to the latter, albeit to a lesser degree than its larger Regal sibling is to the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia. The upper-C-segment Verano's DRG features the familiar 'waterfall' grille, finished in black chrome, blue-lensed projector headlamps and requisite portholes atop its hood.

Expect to see the two-door's sleek look transferred to the regular saloon, with the taut waistline and nose treatment essentially carried over. The A5 is Audi's new mid-sized coupe and it's aimed squarely at the likes of the BMW 3-series coupe and Mercedes CLK.
