Saab 9-3 EV prototype revealed by NEVS When National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) bought what was left after the debacle of bankruptcy, the plan was to create a range of electric cars using the Saab brand. But that hasn’t gone to plan, even though the first electric Saab 9-3 Prototype has now been revealed. In fact, Saab under NEVS has also come close to bankruptcy recently as an unpaid supplier took court action (although NEVS say that little local difficulty has been solved) and NEVS had to resort to building ICE engined Saabs to keep a few bob coming in.

PLUNGING PRICES at the pumps failed to prevent petrol sales dipping to their lowest figure on record in late winter this year. UK drivers bought 1.367 billion litres of petrol in March 2014, according to Government figures highlighted by the AA. This was the lowest recorded figure, with the previous low point being March 2013 - the coldest March for 50 years - when sales only reached 1.376 billion litres.

The Group's Czech arm is showing a new concept dubbed the Fabia vRS 2000, which has been specifically developed and built for the event. Drawing on the Fabia Super 2000 rally car, Skoda's designers have created an original roadster pursuing a single goal: dynamism and the joy of sporty driving.
