Offered is this vintage, Evinrude, Cruise-A-Day 6-Gallon Metal Fuel Tank. This tank was almost full of old fuel when I purchased it at a local estate sale and it did not leak. I drained the tank and dried it out, but failed to notice if the fuel gauge worked before I drained it (the float moves inside the tank). The fuel line is pretty stiff and needs to be replaced, but the fittings are with the hose. There appears to be some rust and/or sediment on the bottom (inside) but I could not get a decent photo. I'd suggest a good cleaning. I have no way of testing this unit and frankly, know very little about these things, but everything seems to be there. It did not leak when holding fuel, but other than that, I am offering it in "as found" condition. The paint is worn on the sides, but it would make an excellent tank for a restoration project as it is very straight with no dents. Note: Both sides, both ends as well as the top and bottom are shown in the photos. Tank will be shipped (empty) via FedEx.

You are bidding on the item pictured and the photos are part of my description. Bid with confidence as I have been selling on e-Bay since 1999. Good luck and thank you for viewing my listing.

MORE DRIVERS in the UK say they would want Spiderman to save them in the event of a breakdown than any other superhero. The web-shooting superhero was chosen by 24% of drivers as they reckon he’d be more able to fix their car or get them to safety. Superman was a close second (22%) in the survey by IGW, with drivers commenting the crime fighter from Krypton would be able to lift their car to a garage to be fixed.
