Evinrude Fisherman 6 Hp Outboard Boat Motor Shortshaft 2 Stroke 5 7 8 Runs Great on 2040-parts.com
Wentzville, Missouri, US
You are bidding on the pictured short shaft 1968 Evinrude 6 hp outboard running boat motor with paperwork and fuel line. The motor was ran today in water and runs/starts/shifts and idles great! The choke knob works but is broken off and the mixture knob works but is missing. The cavitation plate has a piece broken off but it never affected anything. The shift knob was broken also and has an improvised lever-see pics. The motor pumps water great thru the water pump. The pull start works great. The tiller handle looks/works very good. Prop looks great. This unit was gone thru approximately 3 years ago and works great although it has scuffs and scratches and the before mentioned. Look at all pics before bidding please and ask any and all questions as I am not an outboard mechanic or expert on them. Again, motor operates great-it just has cosmetic problems as seen in pics. The motor has started on the second pull always. This is a two stroke motor and is a short shaft. Thanks and good luck. 314 985 9222. Remember, it is not new so bid accordingly-I want the buyer to be satisfied and happy with the motor. Shipping fees reflect UPS actual shipping fee. I will ship well packaged and insured at 100%. Thanks again.

Wiedeking to be offered $140 million to quit Porsche, report says
Fri, 17 Jul 2009Porsche CEO Wendelin Wiedeking could be offered a $141 million (100 million euros) payoff to quit the sports car maker to make way for a merger with Volkswagen, Germany's Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper reported Friday. The newspaper said Wiedeking has been visited by Porsche Chairman Wolfgang Porsche in the past few days, who “made it clear” that the embattled CEO should step down. Wiedeking has come under fire for allowing Porsche's holding company to amass debts of more than $12.7 billion (9 billion euros) during a failed attempt to take over VW.
Hyundai: E4U Egg Car & Fluidic Sculpture in Motion
Sun, 14 Apr 2013Hyundai has already made it clear that 2013 will be about ‘Brand Awareness’ rather than releasing a new raft of models and chasing ever increasing sales, so two Hyundai outings in the last week can be put down to their targeted aim of profile raising. In Milan, Hyundai are taking part in the Milan Design Week by showing an innovative light sculpture that has been inspired by Hyundai’s ‘Fluidic Design’ (even though Hyundai have already said that ‘Fluidic Design’ is being replaced by ‘Fluidic Precision’ as they aim to make their designs ‘cleaner) with an installation made up of 12,000 translucent spheres acting collectively on a screen, surrounded by high-power lasers and suspended over a pool of water. The ‘performance’ starts with virtual rain created by the lasers which form three-dimensional shapes, followed by an interactive segment where human interaction creates three-dimensional images by scanning for body warmth so visitors can manipulate what they see by using gestures.
MOT test scrapped for Classic Cars
Mon, 21 May 2012MOTs scrapped for Classic Cars The Department for Transport has announced it is scrapping MOT tests for cars registered before 1960. In a move that probably won’t make much difference to owners – but will at least cut down on red tape – the Department of Transport has announced that from 18th November 2012 owners of cars registered before 1960 will no longer require an annual MOT. The argument for the change is that owners of classic and historic cars have a much lower accident and MOT failure rate than other vehicles on the road.
