Nissan Resonance SUV: 2013 Detroit Auto Show

The Nissan Resonance SUV Concept has been revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, previewing many design cues for the next generation Nissan Murano. The Resonance Concept has been designed by Nissan’s design team in California with what Nissan are calling ‘boldly futuristic aerodynamic styling’ and gets a hybrid powertrain with a 2.5 litre ICE engine with a pair of electric motors, CVT ‘box and a laminated lithium-ion battery pack. The Resonance gets a design they’re calling ‘V-Motion’, which is meant to flow the design through the car from the front grill, move through the bonnet with the boomerang headlights adding to the flow.

This is the Audi Urban Concept Spyder - the roofless version of Audi's radical city car, due to bow in at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. There's not much else to say about this Audi: it's the same as the coupe shown earlier this month, but with a low, continuous window area and doors that open diagonally to the top. College Exhibition: IAAD - 'Italian Sportivity: The New Generation'

Demonstrating the development of new concepts for Alfa Romeo and Ducati, the Automobile Museum of Turin, Italy, has been hosting an exhibition entitled 'Italian Sportivity: The New Generation'. The work was produced by Transport Design students from Turin's Institute of Applied Arts and Design (IAAD). Working with designers from both companies, IAAD students were given a pair of options to chose from: two wheels or four; Ducati or Alfa Romeo.
