This is the power head from an evinrude 40 hp Vro. Not sure the exact year Has a blue hood. the 88 to 93 range. It has been sitting a long time because the lower unit went bad on it. Before i took it apart i did a quick compression test. measured around 120 pounds without the carbs on and sitting a long time. (see Pics). You will have to be the judge. could be good to go or a food candidate for a re-fresh. Has the flywheel on it, no starter, no carbs, no shift linkage, no oil pump, no coils.
