At
Outboard
Rebuild when we use the word ReMANUFACTURED you can be 100% sure that
all cylinders have been machined by only the best machines that are
available. Rotler F3 boring center that is designed to do blind hole
engines, Rottler HP7A Diamond computer assisted hone for unsurpassed
cylinder wall finish, critical in 2 stroke motors that rely on oil/gas
mix that is needed to lubricate, We machine all critical surfaces
back to uniform for proper gasket sealing. We install NEW parts,
Pistons, Piston rings, wrist pin's, Oil gear, thermostats, rod bearings,
crank seals, the list goes on and on.. We feel you should get what you
pay for " A powerhead that last YEARS as they should
The Industry (outboard remanufacturing) standard for rebuilt motors is
ONLY 100 hours per outboard repair, and a loss of up to 20% power loss .
Here is the problem: piston and ring seating is dependent directly on
cylinder wall finish. To accomplish the proper finish, the method used
is referred to as "plateau finish". This process is how today's
automobile motors go well over 100,000 instead of maybe 50,000 miles
like they used to. To obtain this finish in a blind hole motor
(outboards)
you can't use automotive machining methods. Special machines using
diamond precision computer controlled hones are needed. These machines
with their support equipment are a must on modern outboards, gone are
the days that you can do this correctly at a dealer or in a garage. With
this in mind we attempt to educate.
For the uneducated
customer who looks only for low price also gets a new friend. Who? The
dealer or person who is going to rebuild your engine again, to the
industry standard, AGAIN...
DID YOU KNOW WE ARE THE ONLY REBUILDER THAT REBUILDS OUTBOARD CRANKSHAFTS IN HOUSE ?
All our Rebuilds have the crankshafts replaced or refinished. We don't
put new bearings on a used crankshaft without at least checking integrity to .002 of an inch then polishing. We are the only rebuilder who can refinish crankshafts if needed with the proper equipment, "submerged arc welding" for hardened nitrated outboard crankshafts.
We will arrange all shipping by FedEx freight. We ship daily and will pass our 85% discount on to you !! Residential service available with lift gate.

Complete Outboard Powerheads for Sale

Geneva is always one of the best shows to visit - it's easy to get to from the airport or city centre, it's more compact than the other major auto shows, it's well attended by car designers and there are a lot of new designs to enjoy. This year there were at least 14 significant new production debuts, a similar number of concept cars and, for a change, the weather was more spring like than winter... The core reaction from the designers we spoke to at the show was that there were no really very exceptional new cars at the show - the Hyundai HED-4 Qarmaq concept, Mazda Hakaze concept and Maserati GranTurismo being the possible exceptions.

As part of an ongoing strategy at General Motors, this past month has seen a series of moves taking place within the company's design organization in Europe and the US. Two of the key changes have been the appointment of John Puskar to the role of Director of Cross-Brand Strategy, C&T and Components in North America, and that of Liz Wetzel, who has been named Director of GME Design Interior – effectively filling Puskar's role. Puskar, who until recently headed the Opel/Vauxhall Interior Design at the European Design Center in Russelsheim, Germany, majored in Industrial Design at the Cleveland Institute of Art and worked at Ford in both the USA and Germany before joining General Motors as a creative designer at the GMC Brand Center in 1999.

Russian automaker AvtoVaz has unveiled the Lada XRAY concept at the Moscow motor show. It's the first concept to emerge from under the direction of AvtoVaz's new design chief, Steve Mattin. Previously Design Director of Volvo, Mattin has a strong history with the SUV breed – it was under his direction that the XC60 was developed while at Volvo, while in his role prior to that at Mercedes-Benz, he also worked on the ML-Class.
