Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Edition
Fri, 05 Apr 2013The Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Edition is a limited edition of the already limited edition Fabia Monte Carlo, with added equipment. We all understand that producing limited edition cars adds a bit of showroom gloss, with car makers adding something extra – and often unique to the model, to create a ‘Limited Edition’ with extra equipment to boost sales. MINI Speedster back on the cards
Tue, 07 Apr 2009Mini Speedster from 2001 - looks set to form the basis of a new MINI Speedster Based on the MINI platform, the Speedster version was talked about as long ago as 2001, but never made it to production on the first MINI platform. But perhaps having now covered just about every variant they can think of, BMW has decided that now is the time to revive the car and get it in to production. Small Roadsters, in the vein of the old British open-topped 2 seater ( and its modern ‘Homage’ version – the MX-5) will, I’m sure, see something of a renaissance in the next few years as people start to turn away from big, profligate cars, but still seek some fun motoring.
McLaren 625C Coupe & Spider. So THAT’s what it is
Fri, 26 Sep 2014The McLaren 625C Coupe & Spider arrive for Asian buyers Early last month we reported that there was a McLaren 625C on the way, even if it made no sense. It made no sense because we couldn’t see how it would fit in the McLaren model range, so close was it in power and specification to the 12C’s replacement – the McLaren 650S – to maker commercial sense. But all has been revealed.
