Jaguar reveals first ‘new’ lightweight E-Type
Tue, 12 Aug 2014CLASSIC car fans and speculators alike will be rejoicing as Jaguar has revealed the prototype of its ‘new' lightweight E-Type. Six further examples will be built by Jaguar Heritage and sold as period competition vehicles, using previously unused chassis numbers to give them true authenticity. In 1963 Jaguar started the 'Special GT E-type' programme to build 18 lightweight racers, but only 12 were ever made.
Aston says One-77 prototype hits 220-mph mark
Tue, 22 Dec 2009Aston Martin's One-77 supercar looks fast--and it goes fast. The British luxury-car maker says a prototype of the One-77 notched 220.007 mph during testing in southern Europe. The speed mark was set in dry and windy conditions.

The new Alto will be unveiled at the Paris motor show this autumn and promises to be both clean and frugal. And if the Swift is anything to go by the Suzuki Alto should be a cracking drive too, plus prices should start at under £7k when the it goes on sale in early 2009.
