Evinrude Outboard Motor 1962 Sportwin 10hp (model 10024b) With Stand And Manuals on 2040-parts.com
Cedar, Minnesota, United States
This motor has been in the family since it was new. This motor was used on a 14 ft Alumicraft rowboat. It was always properly stored in the off-season. My dad was always able to get the motor started because, as he said, "I stored it right in the fall!". It hasn't been in the water since the mid to late 1980s and is sold as-is because of a crack/chip in the lower fin (see photo). The pull cord does move and pulls out from the motor. This motor, motor stand, and manuals are available for local pickup in East Bethel, MN (approximately 30 minutes from Minneapolis). If you bid/buy, you must arrange for pickup in East Bethel, MN. Paypal only. Please send any questions. |

MG SV returns, TF founders
Tue, 15 Apr 2008By Keith Adams (additional reporting by Russell Gowers) Motor Industry 15 April 2008 10:14 In the latest twist of the MG Rover saga, and three years after the original MG XPower SV supercar went out of production, the controversial coupe has made a surprise re-appearance. However, the likelihood of us ever seeing the reborn TF roadster seems to be receding by the week. Now known as the XPower WR, the Qvale Mangusta-based supercar has been eased back into production by William Riley – a descendant of the creators of the historic car company bearing the same name. His company, known as MG Sports and Racing Europe Limited, produces the supercharged WR, selling it for between £75,000 and £90,000 depending in specification. The rights to the car – and its badge – were bought from MG Rover administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2005.

MP makes case for double summertime
Fri, 25 Oct 2013ROAD SAFETY and tourism benefits are the key issues behind a debate on the end of putting the clocks back during the winter. Sir Greg Knight, MP for East Yorkshire, criticised the "flawed ritual of plunging the UK into darkness by mid-afternoon" and suggested a debate was required on making better use of daylight. The Tory said any examination should look at the benefits which would see the clocks run two hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time during the summer.
