JOHNSON_EVINRUDE STATOR OEM # 581987-This stator has been taken off a 1981, 175HP Evinrude outboard that had little compression. I assume it is working because the engine did run briefly(not that this is a sure way to know, but a good indication that though the compression on the engine was no longer good, the other components were functioning); however, I have not tested the part. The price reflects this lack of verification. 

Cadillac ATS to get turbo power

Cadillac has given us a sneak peek at the engine lineup that will power the 2013 ATS sedan set to bow in January at the Detroit auto show. The spotlight powerplant is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder making 270 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. It uses a twin-scroll setup for a broad torque range.

Things started out busy enough on Monday with Bugatti losing its top-speed record and the trailer of Ron Howard's new film, “Rush,” hitting the Web. On Tuesday we paid homage to Distracted Driving month by recounting the touching story of a Kansas State Trooper who has witnessed a variety of tragic scenes -- many resulting from distracted driving.
