A new Lamborghini Gallardo is being teased on video ahead of a debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Lamborghini made a promise that it would bring a new car to every major motor show, and the 2012 Paris Motor Show is most definitely a ‘major’ motor show. So we’ve been looking out for what Lamborghini were going to do for Paris 2012, and we were hoping it might be something really special, like the much anticipated hypercar to take on the new Ferrari F70 (which we originally thought would be the Urus until Lamborghini used that for their SUV).

Jeep has given the Cherokee yet another makeover in its 30-year history and has headed back to basics on the design front. The new Cherokee (or Liberty, if you’re American) draws heavily on the big and boxy Commander for its latest look. With a face that only its mother could love, the Cherokee certainly hasn’t become any more attractive.

As part of the European Hydrogen Road Tour, Hyundai are offering members of the public the chance to drive the ix35 FCEV. As we revealed back in August, the Hyundai ix35 FCEV – Hyundai’s hydrogen-powered electric ix35 – is going in to production before the end of 2012, the first proper production fuel cell vehicle…in the world. The initial production run is small – just 1,000 cars – but Hyundai are planning to put the ix35 FCEV in to full production by 2015, by which time they’re hoping there will be a viable hydrogen refuelling infrastructure in place.
