This auction is for a Pair (2) braces, 1 left and 1 right. Manual will be included. These braces were purchased used, in great condition. I wore them for one 25 minute trail ride. I am slow, and middle aged (49), and ride single track trails, and these offer more protection than I need. These may have a few small scratches, as they were used. They are in great condition. Volvo S60 R-Design won on Facebook by ‘The Lake District’
Wed, 03 Aug 2011Volvo Greatest Drive Winner – The Lake District You may remember we reported in June that Volvo had gone slightly bonkers and decided to give away a brand spanking new S60 to whoever submitted the ‘Greatest Drive’ on Facebook; the route that offered not just great scenery but a great driving experience too. And Volvo didn’t skimp on the competition, with not just an astonishingly good prize but also the services of Robert Llewellyn to drive an S60 round the three routes initially voted the best (curious, that – we didn’t know Bobby could drive a car without an electric motor), with videos posted so Volvo’s Facebook fans could make a proper decision on what really was the ‘Greatest Drive’. And the winner was ‘The Lake District’.

Unbelievably, it’s now two years since Cars UK exclusively revealed the first ever photo of the Pagani Huayra, Pagani’s replacement for the car that turned Pagani from a wannabe garden shed car cobbler together to a credible maker of ultimate supercars – the Pagani Zonda.

Leslie Lau won the Best Design Interpretation Award for his Emotive-HYDRO:GEN electric vehicle design, a futuristic look at the automobile which retains the spirit of driving passion. Aimed at the single urbanite and powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, the vehicle also seeks to address issues of recyclability through the use of recycled pulp, most commonly found in egg boxes, in the exterior body panels.
