EVS WEB LG Right Knee Brace

article

In the intense sport of motocross, the body takes a mean beating, with the knee being a prime target. To keep your knees as safe as possible, EVS designed the Web knee brace. The Web was designed to deflect, divert and absorb energy that is normally placed on the leg and knee joint during an impact or other excessive stress. The brace is made from 100% carbon fiber with no bondo-type fillers. With full coverage of the knee, thigh and shin, the Web makes sure that your leg is completely protected. And with hyper-extension stops at 170 degrees, 160 degrees and 150 degrees, your leg will be protected from over-extension and potential injury, but will also be comfortable for those long days. On the track, the EVS Web knee brace is top-of-the-line protection for your knees. Why take chances with anything less?

  • Lightweight frame keeps the Web comfortable to wear during those intense 10-hour ride days
  • Twin-wall hollow-core carbon fiber construction for strength and durability
  • Provides stability and structural support to your knee's skeletal structure
  • Crumple zones absorb impacts and eventually break, so that your femur won't
  • Perfect anatomical matching of the knee's bending motion using a 4-bar linkage hinges, making the Web move with your knee, not against it
  • Articulating knee cap keeps your knee impact-protected no matter if your leg is bent or straight
  • Designed to actually absorb the impact, rather than just pass it on to other parts of your leg
  • 5mm calf cuff helps keep the Web secure and in place
  • Removable and washable liner keeps the brace attached to your leg without sliding down
  • Small hyper-extension stop: 170 degrees max
  • Medium hyper-extension stop: 160 degrees max
  • Large hyper-extension stop: 150 degrees max
  • Right and left specific
  • Sold individually
  • Size: Adult LG Right

Subaru WRX STI beats Tony Pond’s Isle of Man lap record

    Fri, 10 Jun 2011

Mark Higgins beats the TT course in to submission Tony Pond was a rally driver in the 1970s and ’80s, and he was rather good. Good enough to give the likes of Jimmy McRae a spanking from time to time and to drive in umpteen works cars, from Ford to Rover via Datsun. But Tony Pond is probably best remembered for piloting a Rover 827 Vitesse round the Isle of Man TT Circuit in 1990 at an average speed of over 100mph, the first time that had been done.
