See all condition definitions Seller Notes:“This sound, factory original owner's manual is in excellent, nearly NOS condition. Listed as used, but pretty much unused. The cover is mostly clean and nice and shiny and unabused, however, there is a small 1/2 inch tear on the top edge of the front cover. This tear has been repaired with a couple small pieces of clear packing tape both front and back. The cover remains very well attached by shiny staples. There is patina throughout as you might expect of a manual of this vintage. That is it. That is all that keeps me from listing this one as new-other or NOS. The book is absolutely pristine inside with no writing or markings, no highlighting, no missing or torn or loose pages. The corners are sharp and the book lays flat. See the photos.” Read Less Aircraft Type:182P Make:Cessna Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

Fiat Viaggio teased ahead of Beijing debut

Fri, 13 Apr 2012

Fiat Viaggio Tease A new Fiat model – the Fiat Viaggio – is teased ahead of a Beijing Motor Show debut. A Dodge Dart under the skin, it will be built in China. The whole Fiat Chrysler tie-up is yielding all sorts of mongrel variations on a theme, and the Fiat Viaggio – which Fiat are teasing ahead of its Beijing Motor Show debut – is another example of new clothes for new markets.

German new car sales drop 11 per cent – pre-reg accounts for 33.5 per cent

Fri, 19 Oct 2012

New car sales in Germany dropped by 11 per cent in September with pre-reg cars accounting for over a third of all sales. That drop of 11 per cent in Germany is despite deep discount offers – an average of 12.2 per cent in September – with even the previously invincible Mercedes and VW having to offer discounts of up to €3k, despite which VW’s sales fell by 20 per cent in Germany and Mercedes by 12 per cent. What’s perhaps most interesting about the decline in car sales in Germany is the number of pre-reg cars sold (pre reg cars are cars registered by dealers to hit sales targets and then sold at a discount of up to 25 per cent).

AutoWeek office swag: Mazda rotary-engine keychain with realistic motion

Fri, 20 May 2011

When I got the keys to our long-term 2011 Mazda 5 last week, they came with a surprise--this aluminum-and-brass keychain in the shape of a rotary-engine housing, complete with moving rotor. The rotor doesn't just rattle around or spin in a circle. Thanks to a thumbwheel on the back of the housing, coupled with a timing gear and offset crank journal, the thing actually moves in an approximation of epitrochoidal motion just like a real Wankel.
