6-PUCK MIBA Ceramic Clutch DiscOur 6-puck sprung disc offers a really great engagement when using any clutch cover combined. Our 6-puck, spring-centered race disc features a spring-center construction to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. GRIP spring retainers utilize wrap around spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. With the 6-puck, spring-centered race disc engagement is really grippy, and the shifting is fast. The 6-puck, spring-centered disc is recommended for any car application. The disc can absorb three times more amount of heat then a regular OEM disc. Also, proven to last twice as long as an OEM disc due to the great amount of heat it can absorb. 500 mile break-in is mandatory to receive the best results.
Miba Buttons Miba buttons are produced using a patented “sprinkling technique”, and compacted powder metallurgy. Metal powder is first sprinkled and compacted directly on the steel backing plate using precision tools and high pressure. This procedure helps to assure a 100% sintered bond. The sintering is then carried out in furnaces at temperatures up to 2400°F degrees. The powders fuse together (sinter) into a solid material, matching the desired load. A final “coining” operation, which includes color-coding and testing, ensures exact material density, thickness consistency, and precise centering on the backing plate. Unlike other manufacturers that rely on large amounts of low-cost iron as a “filler” material, Miba relies on a bronze-based material while adding only small amounts of iron to act as a hardening agent. Buttons that use a higher content of bronze, versus iron, are more expensive to produce. However, higher levels of wear resulting from the use of iron buttons prematurely destroys cores and cost substantially more in the long run, resulting in the need to purchase replacement plates and carriers more often.

Proof of purchase is mandatory in order to receive warranted replacement. Clutch Break-in Period All PUCK CLUTCH DISC(S) need at least 500 miles for break-in. All KEVLAR DISC(S) need at least 1000 miles for break-in. All FULL FACE ORGANIC DISC(S) need at least 200 miles for break-in. If failed to do break in period we will not offer warranty.

JAGUAR owners are extremely happy with their cars, don't mind the firm's Indian ownership and are likely to vote Conservative or Ukip in the next general election, according to new statistics released today. A survey by WeLoveAnyCar.com among nearly 3,900 Jaguar owners found that 84% rated their motors an eight out of 10 or higher, with 32% rating theirs the perfect 10. The firm apparently has some way to go to shake off its 'old man's car' image, though, with 86% aged 50 or more and a whopping 94% being male.

A study by AA Insurance has found that drivers in London are paying the most for their car insurance – with the average premium costing a whopping £922.44. And – despite a recent fall in car insurance premiums – the average cost could soon increase, with some areas already noticing insurance getting more expensive.
