EXEDY-Top Race Performance use american/japanese components manufactured by both companies. We have matched a perfect combination of a EXEDY stock cover and TRP Stage 3 American 6-puck ceramic disc which features 12 ceramic-iron formula friction pads that are very resistant to slippage and ensures a longer lasting life due to the added graphite content. This set up is proven to last longer when giving it proper abuse, over abuse will shortened the life of any type of clutch. The heavy-duty sprung center unit boasts heat treated springs and retainer rivets for the maximum power and durability. All EXEDY cover assemblies endure a precise robotic testing process to ensure proper clamp load and clutch lift separation. This step ensures optimal pedal feel for better drivability. To help guarantee durability, the diaphragm spring (dark fingers in the center) receives special high frequency induction heat treating. This helps prevent the wear that normally occurs at the contact surface of the release bearing. Together, these procedures provide you a like-new pedal feel throughout the life of your clutch..
Clutch Kit Includes: -EXEDY Pressure Plate -Stage 3 American Ceramic 6-Puck Sprung Disc (Measurements: 240mm, 24Teeth) -Release Bearing, Alignment Tool, Pilot Bearing -Chromoly Flywheel 12LBS
LIGHT WEIGHT AND PREMIUM DESIGN TRP flywheels combine low weight, low inertia and high thermal capacity. They are designed for lightly tuned racing cars as well as street usage. Unlike conventional light weight flywheels, this flywheel provides better response and output in high-speed operation without sacrificing low-speed torque. TRP flywheels are made from solid one piece billet chromoly steel or chromoly steel forgings and are specifically designed to reduce weight and inertia for better engine response. Most incorporate special design features to enhance the airflow which improves the cooling of the clutch. The ring gear teeth are integrated onto the flywheel unlike an aluminum flywheel where the ring gear is pressed onto the flywheel and has the possibility of separating from the flywheel due to the different expansion coefficients of aluminum versus steel. TRP steel billet and forged steel flywheels have passed engineering tests of 18,000 RPM and are certified to SFI specification 1.1. MAIN BENEFITS

After years of trial and error, we manage to put together a brand that is committed to only using America Made components. With a lot of competition on the market, we have done research and came across a lot of brands using overseas components and drifting away from what really matters, which is you. The team over at TRP has suffered from poorly made defective clutches that have affected other important parts in our engine builds. We decided to put an end to this and begin building and supplying the market with quality and putting an end to the knockoff brands like the ones you see on eBay (blue and red brands). We will continue supplying quality products and stand behind them. We are Top Race Performance. You can ask for photos of our equipment, and the procedure of how we build your clutches for 100% assurance. 100% USA MADE OFFER Best Offers Fast Shipping Special Payment We accept all forms of payment. -Paypal -CC (Secured by Paypal) -Cash on Delivery Shipping Most of our products ship within 1-2 business days. Future Audis may time traffic lights for you
Tue, 11 Mar 2014Here's a trick efficiency-chasing hypermilers have been using for years: spotting the cycles of stoplights from 100 to 200 yards out and letting the car coast up to the light just before it turns green, then carrying on without ever letting the car come to a complete stop. These hypermilers, along with professional truck drivers, do this because they know that accelerating from a standstill burns the greatest amount of fuel, and because letting a car coast up to the light with the automatic transmission downshifting by itself is easier on the transmission than stomping on the brakes right beneath the stoplight. Oh, and it's easier on the brake pads as well.
