Exhaust Bellows for OMC Cobra and Volvo SX Drives

Replaces OMC 914036 (3850426) and Volvo 3850426-2.

It is designed to fit OMC Cobra Sterndrives from 1986-1993 and Volvo SX Drives from 1994 and higher.

*** Package includes single, stainless clamp although not shown in picture. ***

Bellows are "shaved" OMC Cobra style as shown in picture for exhaust pressure relief.

Special Notes:

There are two "types" of exhaust bellows advertised for the OMC Cobra and Volvo SX drives:  one that has a fully shaved underside and then those bellows that are are a complete tube without the shaved, open bottom side.

The shaved side bellows can be used in all Cobra applications as well as the Volvo SX applications.  The shave cuts were specifically designed for some earlier Cobra applications due to some exhaust/vacuum issues.

The shaved bellows do not offer as much water resistant "protection" - but the shaved style should be used in their appropriate applications.

Some vendors show tubed bellows crossing over to all Cobra applications.  They don't.

These "shaved" bellows with the open holes should be used on those specific Cobra applications that require them.  You MAY choose to use them on the other Cobra applications and Volvo SX applications as well.

If you have an application that does not require the shaved style and you are looking for the tube bellows, please visit my eBay store!

Jaguar XK 2010/2011 Upgrades – Ultimate XKR Special Edition

Wed, 17 Feb 2010

The 2010 Jaguar XKR - with all the options With the Geneva Motor Show just two weeks away, Jaguar has decided to roll out some upgrades to the Jaguar XK range and take the XKR further in to Supercar territory with the addition of two new options – the Speed Pack and the Black Pack. The car Jaguar will be taking to Geneva has both the new option packs fitted and is being billed as the Ultimate Jaguar XKR Special Edition. The info from Jaguar is slightly confusing, as it looks as if US buyers can opt for the fully loaded ‘Jaguar XKR Special Edition’ but UK and European buyers will need to specify both the new Speed and Black packs on a standard XKR to achieve the same end.

Drivers 'changing their habits'

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

ALMOST a third of motorists have modified their on-the-road habits in the 12 months since new careless driving fines were introduced, according to an AA/Populus survey. But while 29% have altered their behaviour, as many as 74% say they have not noticed a change in other drivers' habits. The new measures have allowed police to issue a fixed penalty notice for less serious examples of careless driving, such as tailgating and middle-lane hogging.
