BYD e6 electric-taxi fire kills 3 after high-speed collision with Nissan GT-R

A BYD e6 electric taxi burst into flames following a collision with a Nissan GT-R in the Chinese city of Shenzhen on May 26. China Car Times reports that the driver of the GT-R might have been drag-racing while intoxicated. The Nissan was reportedly traveling at between 90 mph and 125 mph when it hit the BYD.

BRP Design Center Inauguration

On September 10th, Canadian powersports specialist BRP inaugurated its new Design & Innovation Centre in Valcourt, Quebec (one hour south-east of Montreal, near the US border). The team of 60 individuals includes transportation designers, product designers, graphic designers, engineers, human factors experts, mechanics, CAD technicians, modelers, molders, painters, and management.
