Nissan GT-R's UK competition debut

The car, a personal import brought in from Japan by UK tuning firm RC Developments, will be entered in stock trim in the clubman category of the Time Attack series. The series pits an eclectic Gran Turismo grid of cars against the clock – rather than directly against each other – to set the fastest lap time.

Well, certainly since Toyota first rolled out the Toyota FT-86 Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009. Many car enthusiasts would easily agree to a drive across the country. We're not sure whether Edgar "Ned" Wilcox was an enthusiast, but he did the trip--from Traverse City, Mich., to Tacoma, Wash., in 1923, driving a Case Six. The trip took Wilcox and his passengers 18 days, including delays for weather and mechanical issues.
