QM and SB8 owners rejoyce!  When your factory mixing elbow rusts away from wear and tear, replace it with stainless! Designed for 2QM, 3QM, SB8, and some SB12  raw water cooled Yanmar motors, this mixing elbow is constructed of 304L Stainless Steel for years of service.   This is not a Yanmar manufactured part, but a custom made and carefully engineered part to replace overpriced and scarce factory parts.

This is a 2GM/3GM mixing elbow with a threaded stainless 1.5" nipple robustly welded to it using stainless filler rod.  The mixer is aprox. 4 inches shorter than the 2QM, 3QM, SB8 elbows (picture shows the difference) and it does the job, but make sure your exhaust hose can make up the difference.

The raw water inlet measures 16mm, or 5/8 in across, and the combined water/exhaust outlet measures 51mm, or 2 inches.

I ship by USPS mail using first class international or Priority mail for US customers.  I can express parts by USPS to reach anywhere in the world within 5 business days for an extra $20 (goes to the post office).

The Toyota FT-CH Concept - a stumpy Prius Toyota held a 25 minute press conference this morning at the Detroit Motor Show to tell the assembled throng of journos that it’s going to make lots of Hybrids. Once everyone picked themselves up off the floor after the shock of that revelation, Toyota went on to say that the Toyota FT-CH Concept they were unveiling was a look at the future of Toyota’s hybrid cars and would be part of an extended family of Prius models. Will we ever recover from such shocking revelations?

Nissan GT-R tweaked for 2009 with more power

Tue, 09 Dec 2008

By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 09 December 2008 11:30 The Nissan GT-R still hasn’t gone on sale in Europe and it's already been treated to a few tweaks - new for 2009 will be more power, revised suspension, different wheels and tyres, plus a price hike. Quite, but the increase is a mere 5bhp, taking the output of Nissan's 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 from 473 to 478bhp. Nissan says the extra grunt comes from the fine tweaking of the electronics, though torque remains unchanged at 432lb ft.
