Bugatti Veyron ‘Ettore Bugatti’ Legend edition (2014) first pictures

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 07 August 2014 16:19 Not many special editions make it onto the pages of CAR magazine, but when it’s Bugatti calling the shots at next week’s Pebble Beach celebrations it’s time to sit up and pay attention. This is the sixth and final special edition of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, bowing out in a style not that dissimilar to an ageing Ford Mondeo repmobile. New Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet and Estate delayed

Tue, 26 May 2009

The new Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet - now put back until Spring 2010 Mercedes has done a pretty good job on updating the E-Class, and its been receiving good comments all round. But Mercedes has lost the momentum a bit with the revelation that the E-Class Coupe is actually based on a C-Class chassis. Not that that alone is reason for complaint, but there was a big hoo-haa around the nomenclature for the E-Class Coupe (should it have been the CLK?) so it was a bit disingenuous of Mercedes to reveal the Coupe’s roots after its reveal.

A9 cameras already curbing speeders

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

NEWLY-INSTALLED cameras on one of Scotland's most notorious roads are already cutting drivers' speed. The average-speed cameras on the A9 have not yet been switched on, but have nonetheless seen the number of motorists breaking the speed the limit on the Perth to Pitlochry stretch drop from one in three to one in 10. Work began to install the devices from Perth to Inverness last month, one of a number of planned measures to improve safety on the main route connecting central Scotland and the Highlands.
