Founded in 1969 by Mr. Luigi Termignoni, the TERMIGNONI SpA is a company that designs and creates exhaust systems for motorcycles are geared towards utlizzo road racing at the highest levels. The 50 employees work in a new and modern structure located about 7,000 meters in the municipality of Predosa (AL), a country characterized by a strategic location just an hour's drive from three of the most important cities in northern Italy: Turin, Milan and Genoa. All exhaust systems are made in the TERMIGNONI, from technical design to shipping, with classic materials used for these types of products such as 'stainless steel, the aluminum, carbon, titanium and Inconel (this' last used only for the realization of some racing products). It’s now become apparent that Eterniti will rebody the Porsche Cayenne 4x4 at its London factory to an even higher spec – they say – than when it emerges from Stuttgart. Volvo will market entry-level car to rival VW Golf

Volvo plans to offer a Volkswagen Golf competitor as part of a plan to expand the automaker's product line. Speaking in London last week, new Volvo CEO Stefan Jacoby said the next generation of the entry-level Volvo “will be a derivation of the C30, a Golf competitor,” according to the Web site www.autocar.co.uk. He also said Volvo's brand positioning would shift toward “functionality and Scandinavian elegance” and away from sportiness, according to the Web site.

Daimler takes 10 percent stake in EV maker Tesla

Daimler AG has acquired an equity stake of nearly 10 percent of California electric car maker Tesla Motors Inc., the German automaker said Tuesday. The two companies have been working together to integrate Tesla's lithium-ion battery packs and charging electronics into the first 1,000 units of Daimler's electric Smart car. Daimler said its stake in Tesla will allow the companies to collaborate even more closely on the development of battery systems, electric drive systems and in individual vehicle projects.
