Chevrolet Bowtie Version (2) How about this brand new pair of chrome exhaust tips for your favorite Chevrolet? They are 8" long and 2 1/2" ID inlet so they will slip over a 2 1/2" tail pipe. The bowtie is 1 1/8" x 3 1/8". They can be clamped or welded but welding looks cleaner. These are the heavy duty muffler shop versions. General Motors halts Hummer production until sale is completed
Thu, 14 Jan 2010General Motors will stop production of Hummers at the end of this week as the automaker waits for Chinese regulators to approve the brand's sale to Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. Output of Hummer H3 and H3T models at GM's Shreveport, La., plant will resume once the pending acquisition is completed, Hummer spokesman Nick Richards said. Richards declined to specify what issues remain to be approved by the Chinese government.

This allows more freedom in terms of proportions, with a particularly generous axle-to-dashboard distance.
