Today, the engine is still in the front, those delightfully exposed front wheels still float over bumps and the frog-eyed headlights serve as a reminder of years gone by. Taking its design cues from the CLS Shooting Brake, the new CLA Shooting Brake will offer a swoopy coupe estate with the emphasis on style rather than load-lugging. Underpinning the new CLA Shooting Brake will be the same platform that underpins the other A-Class models – A-Class, CLA Coupe, GLA SUV and B-Class – and offer the same range of engine and transmission options.
