No devils were harmed in the making of this synthetic rope, but it is legendarily strong, and amazingly light. It's so light that it floats, actually. This plow lift rope features our proprietary SynSteel braided line with the highest strength-to-weight ratio available (6,000 lbs. breaking strength); there's nothing lighter and stronger. Devil's Hair is easy to handle. It doesn't burr, fishhook or kink like cable, and it doesn't have a memory. This rope is 3/16" x 15', with a shorter overall length that keeps the pull close to the winch drum to reduce winch stress. The Peugeot Urban Crossover previews the Peugeot 2008
Peugeot has revealed the Urban Crossover Concept at the Beijing Motor Show which previews the Peugeot 2008 Compact SUV. We’ve already had the news that Peugeot won’t be building an estate or convertible version of the new 208, but they will be building an SUV and its almost certain to be badged the Peugeot 2008. And if we’re not very much mistaken, the Peugeot Urban Crossover Concept revealed today in Beijing is, minus a few concept fripperies and with a quick badge change, the new Peugeot 2008.

Land Rover are planning a new Defender to launch in 2012
As always, the Defender is going to be the traditional Land Rover as – unlike the rest of the Land Rover Range which is moving over to aluminium platforms – the new Defender will be based on the existing – and very capable – current model Discovery platform. The use of the T5, twin rail steel chassis from the Discovery is vital if the Defender is to continue to offer the range of body styles currently available – including hard and soft tops – which make the Defender the versatile work horse it is. But the Defender will still be going on a diet and will be a lighter car than the current Model.

Maserati GranTurismo S Auto - now with Sport Pack for an extra £4k
The Maserati GranTurismo S Auto is Maserati’s best-selling car in the UK, and you can see why. It’s good looking in that slightly odd combination of butch and dainty that certain Italian cars manage so well, it’s performance is decent without being earth-shattering and – certainly compared to any other Italian you could consider remotely ’Exotic’ – it’s more sensibly priced, at the right side of £100k. But if there are criticisms to be levelled against the GrandTurismo S they perhaps revolve around its slightly ‘soft’ nature.
