EZGO POWERWISE TOTAL CHARGE 36 VOLT GOLF CAR CHARGER KIT I took my experience repairing golf carts and chargers and developed this kit, among others, with my focus on giving the "(D)o (I)t (Y)ourself" cart owner the opportunity to repair their charger, saving time and expense of a repair shop. I have specially picked all the parts in my kits to match or exceed OEM specifications, guaranteeing a quality repair that will return your charger back to a solid, well performing condition. Kit will fit the following EZGO chargers: *Powerwise, Powerwise +, Total Charge III, and Total Charge IV
When at least one of the diode / rectifiers in your charger fails, the fuse will blow to protect the charger transformer etc., therefore these parts come together in this kit as they usually are replaced during the same repair. Should your fuse blow, it is replaced and then blow again, you almost definitely have a bad diode. The cause would most likely be lightening strike / voltage spike.
Included in this kit are the following: 1) Rectifier Diode (2 ea.). These diodes are better than the original found in your charger. They have a higher current handling rating (40Amp). OEM Reference # 28548G01 ; 18488G1. (INCLUDES MOUNTING HARDWARE) **Photos #2 & #3 show the old style Diode Assembly and how new style diodes are mounted** 2) Fuse, 50 Amp DC (1 ea.). Protects charger in case of diode failure. Exact replacement part. OEM Reference # 28106G01 ( for Powerwise chargers ) 3) Heatsink Thermal Paste (1 ea.). Thermal paste is used in the mounting of the rectifier diodes. It helps heat transfer away from the diode to the heatsink more efficiently. I have many shipping options available, if you are needing your kit delivered promptly
This kit is one of the less expensive methods of eliminating common problems with these chargers, the repair can be accomplished with common tools by most anyone AND, I will offer my help with troubleshooting to ANYONE who needs it. THANKS for looking at my listing |

Hyundai ix35 FCEV: The go-to hydrogen fuel cell car
Mon, 18 Mar 2013The Hyundai ix35 FCEV has been chosen for the second year running as the FCEV of choice for the European Commission-backed Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU). As we’ve reported previously, the Hyundai ix35 FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle) is the first proper production FCEV in the world, although the roll-out of Hyundai’s hydrogen-powered car isn’t exactly on a huge scale, at least not for the next couple of years. But as governments (perhaps) start to wake up to the fact that the BEV car is a road to nowhere - or nowhere far, at least, with its limited range and the current state of battery technology – they are starting to see hydrogen-powered vehicles as a realistic future for a world that doesn’t have to rely on fossil fuels for transport.

2014 Toyota Corolla order guide leaked
Fri, 10 May 2013The 2014 Toyota Corolla arrives in dealerships later this year, but some bits of information about the big seller have leaked through a Kansas dealer to Car and Driver. The Corolla will stick with a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine, but will add Toyota's Valvematic variable valve timing, which may add a few ponies. A four-speed automatic will be standard on base models, while a six-speed manual will also be offered, replacing the old five-speed .
