Up for auction is a Ezy Glide III stick steering assembly. Only two years old and in great shape. Works great. Took it off my boat when I went to a center console layout. Really smooth and responsive. These are the cats meow for running rivers. This one is rated for up to 70hp prop motors and 90hp jet motors. Also comes with necessary hardware to hookup to motors without the tilt tube steering mount. All you would need is the link between motor and cable. Has a 14-15 ft cable. Different length cables can be had online. This is a very expensive setup and is slightly used for a fraction of the price. Appears to be in good condition. Parts may need cleaning up as I list them the way they come off the motors. A quick internet search or a call to your local dealer should reveal the parts this will interchange with as well as compatibility to your motor. Free shipping to the lower 48. Hiromu Naruse: ‘Godfather’ of the LFA ‘Not Famous Enough’
Fri, 11 Feb 2011Hiromu Naruse & Lexus LFA Last year we reported the death of Hiromu Naruse, Toyota’s chief test driver and a man considered to be the ‘Godfather’ of the Japanese performance car, and particularly the Lexus LFA, a car which consumed the last decade of his life and became the final testament to his enormous skill. At 67, Naruse-san was still as involved as ever, and it was whilst driving a Lexus LFA with the Nurburgring Package he met his end on a public road near the Nurburgring. A track, incidentally, he had driven more than any other Japanese driver.

Mon, 29 Mar 2010This is the new Ford Focus RS500, a special limited edition version of the Blue Oval’s mad Focus RS hot hatch with 15% more power. For a start there’s that extra power. Thanks to a larger air-to-air intercooler, a bigger air filter and a wider diameter exhaust downpipe (plus a new ECU to take advantage of the mechanical changes) peak power is up from 301bhp to 345lb ft at 6000rpm, while torque climbs from 325lb ft to 339lb ft. The result is a 5.6sec 0-62mph time (down three-tenths) while the top speed climbs two notches to 165mph.
