This is a set of two gun bay gas purge doors.These doors exhausted the explosive gas residues into the engine air stream.Both are aluminum,with the curved faces being sized 8 X 9 inches.

Revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance – where Bugatti was one of the featured marques – the Sang Bleu is the first limited edition of the targa-top Grand Sport, which was itself first unveiled at the Pebble Beach 12 months ago.Sang Bleu? Sounds very blue-blooded aristocracy!

A tribute to Jim Das
Sat, 21 May 2005On May 15 GM Europe designer Jim Das passed away in a Wiesbaden hospital after a year-long battle with leukemia. Jim joined the Opel Design team in 1997 following the completion of his Masters degree at the Royal College of Art. In 1998-99 Jim had a stint in Italy at the Opel Advanced Studio and worked on a roadster study (currently on display at Opel Live in Ruesselsheim).
