Factory 1972-73 Porsche 911 Retractable Seat Belts / Inertia Reels - Excellent

Removed from a 1972 911T many years ago, and carefully stored ever since, these authentic seat belt retractors are in outstanding original condition with excellent original finishes, good color, and only minor patina. Correct for all 1972 and 73 cars, you'll look a long time before you find an original set as nice as these.

The original Porsche tags are frayed from age and almost unreadable but replacement tags are available online from a specialty vendor if the new owner wants to replace them. The correct REPA parts numbers are visible as follows:

On chrome tabs:
01.80054.0 (on both tabs)

On inertia reels:
01.80122.1 and 01.80123.1 (left and right)

I’m not a dealer and I don’t do this to make a living. I’m a collector who owns more than a dozen vintage Porsches and the parts I have for sale on eBay are all parts that, at one time or another, were purchased for one of my cars or were actually on one of my cars. I own some of the finest Porsches in the world. I don’t own junk and I don’t sell junk. Thanks for looking.

New Ford Fiesta Automatic

Mon, 15 Jun 2009

The Ford Fiesta now gets an automatic option Of course, this is not just about catering for the small numbers of Europeans who can’t use their left foot. It is probably about catering for the huge number of Americans who won’t. As we’ve reported, Ford is on a big push to get America to love the new Ford Fiesta, and without an auto option on offer they will be restricting their sales numbers.
