Mike Ryan does amazing things with the Banks Freightliner. And with Pikes Peak still half a year away, Ryan settles for practice in the Long Beach docks in "Size Matters 2." He weaves the semi in and out of boxes, does donuts in the same tight radius as a matte-black 240SX (driven by stuntman Daniel Leavitt, who ironically shares his name with a reckless driving attorney in Virgina), and dodges even larger trucks. (No Dodges, though there's the Freightliner connection.) Porsche Cayenne S Diesel (2012) first pictures

Porsche has equipped its Cayenne SUV with a twin-turbo diesel engine, creating (no surprises here) the Cayenne S diesel. The 4.2-litre bi-turbo oil-burner puts out 376bhp and a rather wholesome 626lb ft of torque. That latter figures bests even the flagship petrol Cayenne Turbo: that car's twin-blown petrol V8 produces 'only' 516lb ft - and costs around £28k more than the Cayenne S Diesel.

Pilkington Vehicle Design Awards 2010

Royal College of Art vehicle design graduates Marten Wallgren and David Seesing took top honors at the Pilkington Vehicle Design Awards held at the RCA in London on 24 June. Marten Wallgren from Sweden scooped the award for Best Overall Design Interpretation for his next-generation car sharing system entitled 'The Grid'. The 'private public transportation service for the year 2025' incorporated a two-seater, semi autonomously driven car with community charging features.
