Unit was removed from a 2009 GS350 but the wire plug has been cut and the compass cover clip is broken but it has been secure with double side tape. You will need to split the wires and transfer your existing wires and plug from the bad mirror to this mirror. The auto dimming will darken the mirror automatically when the cars behind you or on the side is too bright or with high bean as well as cars from opposite direction with to bright headlight or high bean. It will then clears back to normal when the brightness reduce from cars in front or behind automatically. The compass displays will read out the following direction to make sure you are on the right place when driving or search for an address or place. It will tell you which direction you go such as East, West, South, and North, SE, SW, NE, NW. This is the upgrade model mirror. The route retraced the centuries-old Silk Trail, taking the team through 13 countries. The trucks and drivers experienced just about every type of terrain, as well as temperatures ranging from -10 degrees Celsius to 43 degrees Celsius, the latter translating to a very uncomfortable 109.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
