1961-63 Volkswagen Bug Rear Window **SEE BELOW FOR MORE PICS OF 66 FORD THUNDERBIRD PARTING OUT** (may also fit other years/models; all vehicles in fitment chart is web-based researched & does not guarantee fitment of the vehicles, so please do your own research to make sure this will fit your application prior to bidding, as we supply what vehicle this came out of & plenty of pictures because vehicles of the same year/same model can have different interior packages, different trim packages, special orders, limited editions, different options, etc.; please ask all questions prior to bidding)
We rate all of our items based on the following scale (as per our opinion, please look at all pictures & make your own decision as everyone's opinion varies; we do the best to describe as accurately as possible): show quality, excellent, very good, good, fair, poor. This auction is for the rear window, which is in good driver quality condition. This shows wear typical for it's age, with some light scratches, and there is a small chip along the one outer edge (see pics), but would not affect functionality & will not be seen when the rubber seal is installed. History on the glass - the glass is nowhere near perfect unless specified in the description, nor did I remove this from the vehicle. I bought a used lot of auto glass from a restoration shop that was going out of business; the guy assured me that the vehicle listed on the window was the vehicle it was removed from; these all have scratches on them at the least from sitting on top of each other with no padding between for years; I don't want anyone to have high hopes of show quality/mint/like new glass unless otherwise specified in description. It is very difficult to capture all the imperfections of the glass in pictures, so any major flaws will be disclosed, otherwise it is your typical scratches for its age. This was said to be removed from a 1961-63 Volkswagen Bug, but may fit other vehicles listed in compatibility chart; please do your own research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle. Please look at all pics and ask any questions prior to bidding. There are plenty of pictures & we purchased the zoom, so please use it. What you see in the pictures is what you get.
Our goal is to serve you as best we can, and we have multiple forms of fitment research; some comes from restoration catalogs, the internet, other eBay listings from highly creditable sellers, cross-fitment programs when applicable, and occasionally manufacturer's buyers guides, as well as my 20+ years of experience in the automotive field as an ASE Certified Master Tech. All parts are untested unless otherwise stated in listing. I sell used parts, and therefore all parts may have imperfections as would be expected from a used part, such as scratches, wear, etc. Parts stated as tested, were tested prior to removal, unless otherwise stated as bench tested; I cannot guarantee their current working condition due to their age & that they may sit on the shelf for awhile prior to winning bid. Disclaimer applies to all parts whether they be electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, etc. We reserve the right to mark our items with our business name in an inconspicuous area on the item that will not be seen when installed to help thwart any dishonest transactions. All items are pictured with the masking tape stating the vehicle it came out of (if applicable) & item description and is immediately placed onto the item after picturing to ensure that the item you are bidding on is the item you will receive. All fitment info is web-based research, so please check to make sure this will fit your application prior to bidding. Insurance is required & is included in shipping price. Item is used & sold "as is", sorry no refunds so please look at all pics & make sure this is what you want & will fit your vehicle. **WE ACCEPT ALL FORMS OF PAYMENT THROUGH PAYPAL, INCLUDING BY CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD! **PLEASE READ ALL PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BIDDING...FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS!! 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra: A huge deal
Fri, 14 Dec 2012Yesterday General Motors unveiled its new full-sized pickup trucks, the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. It was a big day for me -- like Christmas for an 8-year-old: People who know me know what a Silverado slappy I am. Given that the trucks are the first new GM full-size pickups in years, and since CEO Dan Akerson called it the “biggest launch in probably decades,” clearly it's a big deal for them too.
Volvo V60 Plug-in Diesel Hybrid: Geneva 2011 catch-up
Fri, 04 Mar 2011Volvo V60 Diesel Plug-in Hybrid Geneva We’re probably going to be playing catch-up for the next few days on stuff we didn’t manage to cover on the press days at Geneva. And this – the Volvo V60 Diesel Plug-in Hybrid – is one that should definitely have made it in to our coverage earlier. We’re not big fans of the hybrid route – especially in small cars – but when it’s used to produce a car that is more economical and more powerful, we start to get it.
