Factory Rebuilt 1966/67 Buick Rochester 2v Side Inlet Carburetor Will Fit Chevys on 2040-parts.com

Here's a nice Rochester 2V Chevy Style Side Outlet carburetor that specs out for a 1966/67 Buick. I got this carburetor with a group of parts I bought in 2008 from the parts room of a Buick dealer near me who closed their doors. It was on a shelf with several other carburetors, and I am going with what is written on the box as far as the application. I do know the throttle arm and linkage look exactly like the Buick & Oldsmobile single two barrel hookups from the 60s. I took a peek inside the lid and everything looks great. Most of the carburetors I found there were Carter 4Vs from the 60s, and most of them were in these Factory Rebuilt boxes. I guess back in those days there were alot of carburetor problems until they tried everything and finally settled on a few of the better ones. I use a version of this 2V Rochester carburetor on my 50s GM tri-power setups I recon and sell and they are very dependable units. I can't really tell you much more about this unit, other than what you see in the pictures, but if you would have any problems with it I have enough 2V Rochester parts to get you up and running with no problem. I've been reconning & using these 2Vs since 1961 & I think they are the best 2V out there. If you have any questions, use the Ask Seller a Question feature on this page, or call my cell# 412 607 3791 anytime. Chilly

Ford Focus ECOnetic
Tue, 28 Aug 2007By Ben Barry Motoring Issues 28 August 2007 04:52 Car manufacturers will be tripping over themselves to look leaner and greener at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Today Ford throws its hat into the ring with the Focus ECOnetic. Usually when a car manufacturer announces lowered suspension and an aerodynamics kit for its medium-sized hatchback, it goes hand-in-hand with extra power and a GTi badge.
Off the line: Fun cars and social responsibility Autoweek op-ed stands the test of time
Fri, 30 Dec 2011It's been almost 21 years to the day that Autoweek printed Matt DeLorenzo's column “Off the Line: There's room for fast, fun cars in diet of social responsibility.” And in those two decades plus, not much has changed except the vehicles themselves. For example, sports cars like the Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Huayra have astronomically high performance and safety levels; similarly, sport-utility vehicles that haul entire families (and most of their earthly possessions) achieve fuel economy similar to that of 1970s midsize sedans. To read all of DeLorenzo's thoughts and his case for automobiles, click the links to download the article.
