Here's a nice Rochester 2V Chevy Style Side Outlet carburetor that specs out for a 1966/67 Buick. I got this carburetor with a group of parts I bought in 2008 from the parts room of a Buick dealer near me who closed their doors. It was on a shelf with several other carburetors, and I am going with what is written on the box as far as the application. I do know the throttle arm and linkage look exactly like the Buick & Oldsmobile single two barrel hookups from the 60s. I took a peek inside the lid and everything looks great. Most of the carburetors I found there were Carter 4Vs from the 60s, and most of them were in these Factory Rebuilt boxes. I guess back in those days there were alot of carburetor problems until they tried everything and finally settled on a few of the better ones. I use a version of this 2V Rochester carburetor on my 50s GM tri-power setups I recon and sell and they are very dependable units. I can't really tell you much more about this unit, other than what you see in the pictures, but if you would have any problems with it I have enough 2V Rochester parts to get you up and running with no problem. I've been reconning & using these 2Vs since 1961 & I think they are the best 2V out there. Fisker battles problems as the Karma finally lurches toward launch

Tue, 24 Jan 2012

All Henrik Fisker wants is to build his plug-in hybrid cars and deliver them to customers--some of whom have been waiting three years since plunking down $5,000 deposits. Instead, he has been fending off criticisms aimed at his green-car company as shipments of his $103,000 Karma plug-in hybrid sedan have been delayed by cash flow troubles, regulatory snarls and a recall. But when a startup such as Fisker Automotive accepts a Department of Energy loan in a down economy, having the company tossed around like a political football comes with the territory.
