Suzuki has launched a new higher-spec Jimny - The Suzuki Jimny SZ4 The Jimny is pretty much in a league of its own, but that’s probably because no one else wants to play, rather than the Jimny being exceptional in any way. It’s not exactly a comfortable car, although it seems to cope with big bumps reasonably well, it’s just everything else it has trouble with. Right. The chassis might be carbonfibre, but the aluminium panels are hand rolled.

Ford Transit to replace Econoline van in 2013

Ford is finally putting the Econoline out to pasture. The full-size van has been has been available in one form or another since 1961. The E-series will be replaced by the European-designed Transit van, which will arrive with a global platform in 2013.
