DSA and VOSA to be merged and rebranded
Fri, 29 Nov 2013TWO MAJOR governmental organisations particularly familiar to motorists are to be merged and rebranded under plans to save money. In an attempt to boost service and cut costs, the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) are being turned into a single, new organisation. Transport Minister Robert Goodwill has confirmed the new, streamlined agency will be called the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Mr Goodwill said that during a transition period to April 1 next year, references to the new DVSA would include a statement "incorporating DSA and VOSA".
Jaguar C-X75 500bhp hybrid supercar - here by 2014
Tue, 24 Jul 2012Jaguar today confirmed it will bring a limited, 200-strong edition of the C-X75 hybrid supercar to market in the next two years. The C-X75 is being developed in partnership with Williams and will be the second British hybrid supercar – alongside McLaren's new P11 – to challenge the Ferrari Enzo successor and Porsche 918 e-sypercars. Gordon Murray city car to be built
Thu, 22 Aug 2013It seems the Gordon Murray Design T25 and T27 city cars are heading for production and could be on sale as early as 2016. According to Gordon Murray himself, writing on the company’s website, the concept for both the T25 and T27 has now been sold to a customer. The i-Stream manufacturing process is also being taken on by a selection of clients, it seems.
