LSXrt Intake Manifold:

Designed specifically for GM 4.8/5.3/6.0L cathedral port truck engines and cathedral port LS1, -2, -6 race applications where hood clearance is not a concern, the FAST™ LSXRT™102mm Intake Manifold follows the path chartered by the original FAST™ LSX™ Gen III Intake by featuring a modular design that allows for easy porting and disassembly and a runner design that yields an incredible 25 peak horsepower gain over the stock intake, on a stock 6.0L engine with a Big Mouth 102mm Throttle Body™. And similar to the LSXR™ 102mm Intake Manifold for cars, the
LSXRT
™ features the ability to remove individual runners for modification.

The LSXRT™ is constructed from a proprietary precision injection molded polymer which offers many benefits, including lighter weight, greater strength and lower heat soak propensity. While it features a 102mm air inlet that was designed for the FAST™ Big Mouth 102mm Throttle Body™, it can also be used with stock 90mm or aftermarket 92mm throttle bodies (78mm three-bolt throttle bodies require an adapter). Other features include integrated nitrous bungs and precise bolt-on fit that permits the use of factory accessories and OEM fuel/emission connections without adjustments or clearance issues. Some GM truck models may require the FAST™ 92mm or 102mm throttle body.

"Big Mouth" 102mm Throttle Body:
When it comes to improving your engine’s performance, increased airflow is a key ingredient. The FAST™ Big Mouth Throttle Bodies™ for the FAST™ LSXR™ 102mm Intake Manifolds increase airflow through a series of innovative design changes and a slightly enlarged throttle opening. FAST™ also invested significant testing & engineering resources into optimizing cross-sectional flow and eliminating airflow turbulence, especially at part throttle operation.

In addition, these throttle bodies offer increased throttle blade thickness to eliminate deflection commonly found with other throttle bodies, especially those in boosted applications. A smoother operating offset blade pivot improves throttle response, and a beefed up linkage and dual throttle spring mechanism ensure total throttle control.

LS-Series Perimeter Plate Nitrous System:
Adjustable from 100-250 horsepower, the complete, race-ready ZEX™ LS Series Perimeter Plate Blackout Nitrous System™ for throttle-by-cable applications provides optimum spray efficiency and fuel distribution with nitrous and fuel outlets placed at 12 injection points around the perimeter of the intake manifold’s inlet. The revolutionary Perimeter Plate is a direct fit for all 90mm and larger, “4-bolt” style OEM and aftermarket throttle body/manifold combinations, as well as the new FAST™ LSXR™/LSXRT™ 102mm Intake Manifolds. Perimeter Injection™ Technology:
Unlike traditional nitrous kits, the ZEX™ Perimeter Plate employs multiple injection points to create a perfectly atomized blend of fuel and nitrous. This mixture is then fired directly into the center of the intake plenum, ensuring equal dispersal between cylinders. First McLaren P1 customer cars delivered With McLaren starting production of the P1 earlier this month,and the P1 has now starting to arrive in the hands of real customers (which, it appears, is more than Ferrari can manage with LaFerrari) with it comes confirmation of the immense performance the P1 offers. The 0-62mph time of 2.8 seconds is impressive enough, but the 0-124mph of just 6.8 seconds, quarter mile of 9.8 seconds (at 152mph terminal speed) and a limited top speed of 217mph makes the new P1 astonishingly quick. If we look at the P1′s rivals claims for performance, LaFerrariu comes close with (vague) promises from Ferrari of a 0-62mph under 3 seconds and a 0-124mph if under 7 seconds.

Hakan Saracoglu has been appointed director of Chery Motor's Shanghai design facility. He will work alongside director of corporate design James Hope who continues in his role overseeing Chery design. Turkish-born Saracoglu joins the Chinese state-owned manufacturer from Porsche where he worked from April 1998.
