CST Coilovers are made in Japan and utilize a mono-tube damper system allows the system to make more abuse and run at lower temperatures. This gives more consistent dampening as inner chamber pressure fluctuation is kept to a minimum while being used throughout the day. All CST dampers include 15-way dampening adjustments. Many applications have inerted dampers (Formula Style) which gives a high dynamic performance in both stiffness and durability.  The coilover is fully threaded which allows for a greater range in ride height adjustment. Whether you're looking to slam the car, run it at the track or use it for daily driving, you can achieve your ideal ride height with this system. All CST suspension system include pillow ball upper mounts as well as camber plates for greater suspension adjustment as well better feedback from the road.

One Lap of the Web: Remembering the dearly departed

-- With news that Toyota is leaving the great state of California for the greater (by landmass, anyway; your own opinion may vary) state of Texas, it's worth reminding ourselves that Toyota in America started as one lonely building on 6000 Hollywood Blvd., having taken over a former Rambler dealership. (The site is still a successful Toyota dealership.) That first year of sales in 1958 saw 287 Toyopet Crowns and one Land Cruiser sold -- more as curiosities than as practical transportation, we'd wager. -- At any rate, Toyota's move from California to Texas is moving from "one of the most eco-friendly states in the union," according to Ward's Auto, "to the U.S.’s equivalent of China." -- Ten years ago today, the last Oldsmobile rolled off the line at Lansing Car Assembly.

The Audi TTS Competition (pictured) celebrates 500k TTs built It started off as something of a hairdressers car, but over the course of its 15 year history – and two iterations – the Audi TT has grown to be a credible sport car and a decent seller for Audi. That’s meant a total of 500,000 TTs have been solid since the TT first hit showrooms back in 1998, so Audi are celebrating with a new limited edition model – the Audi TTS Competition. The TTS Competition will be limited to just 500 units and will come in a choice of eitherĀ Imola Yellow and Nimbus Grey, as a coupe or a roadster.
