Capable of reproducing coded blasts or sustained tones through the use of a number of control devices from a push button to a PLC. Federal Signal’s Vibratone horn is excellent for general alarm, start and dismissal, coded paging, and process control signaling in areas of high ambient noise levels. The Model 450 is available in DC voltages; 12VDC, 24VDC, 125VDC and 250VDC. The Model 450 produces 99dBA @ 10' . Vibratone mounting options provide for surface, flush or semi-flush mounting on walls, panels, in cabinets, on 4-inch square outlet boxes, or in concrete and deep wall constructions. Installed on the front of a Vibratone Horn, the optional Model PR Projector or Model PR2 Double Projector direct sound output straight ahead or to the sides, optimizing sound output for long, narrow rooms or corridors. Vibratone horns are UL and cUL Listed, CSA Certified and FM Approved. They are designed and approved for use in Type 4X applications when installed with the Panel Mount Gasket Kit or Weatherproof Backbox (Model WB). They are approved for Type 4X and Type 12 applications when installed with the Surface Mount Trim Ring. Each Vibratone horn is enclosed in a zinc die-cast housing and sealed with grey powder-coat paint.The Model 450 utilizes an aluminum diaphragm and heavy duty contacts. The rugged construction of the Vibratone horns resists vandalism and the effects of harsh industrial environments. Compact size, loud output and heavy-duty construction make the VibraTone horns ideal for industrial and institutional signaling applications. Weather creates travel misery
Tue, 24 Dec 2013BRITAIN’S bleak midwinter continued today with strong winds, floods and fallen trees causing chaos to travellers trying to get away for Christmas. On the roads, many major routes were flooded or blocked by fallen trees, with Kent, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Cornwall among the affected counties. In Dorset fire crews had to rescue 25 people trapped in their cars by flood water, while as many as 100,000 homes across the country were left without power.

Sat, 29 May 2010Nigel Mansell & Sons - Le Mans entrants 2010 Nigel Mansell is still one of our best known racing drivers, despite it being more than a year or two since he hung up his F1 helmet. But that hasn’t stopped him enjoying time behind the wheel of a fast motor or two and guiding the motor racing careers of his sons, Leo and Greg. Last year, perhaps a little tongue in cheek whilst being interviewed by Radio 2 jock and Ferrari nut Chris Evans, Nigel expressed a desire to get back in to F1 and said he could “…jump in a Ferrari [F1] tomorrow and be competitive.” But going backwards is not usually a sensible route – as Michael Schumacher can currently testify - but new challenges – whatever your age – are to be relished.

So, it wasn't a huge surprise to click through the group's Golf Wang Spring/Summer 2014 Lookbook and find photos of a pretty, white E30 M3 serving as a backdrop for the cat-print T-shirts and weird socks.
