Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 dynamic debut at Le Mans Classic this weekend

The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 joins the first D-Type at Le Mans this weekend The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 got its reveal at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend as a D-Type inspired, short-run F-Type with 567 bhp and 502lb/ft of torque. Opel Adam going rallying

Opel is adding a bit of rally credibility to the new Adam by taking it rallying with an Adam R2 rally car for a one-make cup. But perhaps GM Europe are hoping to inject a bit of performance credibility in to the uninspiring mechanical offerings the Adam currently offers with the revelation that they’re making a rally Adam prepared to basic R2 spec, which means a tweak or three from the standard production car. That means upgrades to the engine, suspension, brakes and gearbox to produce an Adam rally car that’s an affordable entry point for young drivers and Opel are aiming to compete in the ADAC Opel Rally cup with the Adam R2.

GM to invest $230 million in four Michigan plants to build Chevrolet Volt, Cruze

General Motors Co. said Tuesday it will invest more than $230 million in four plants around Flint, Mich., to help build the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze compact and the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid sedan. The move will restore about 500 jobs, GM said in a statement.
