Is this Aston Martin DB 2/4 the ‘original’ James Bond Aston Martin?
Wed, 21 May 2014Is this Aston Martin DB 2/4 the original Bond car? Lovers of James Bond films will be totally familiar with the iconic Aston Martin DB5 Bond drove in a number of films, and in particular the Aston Martin DB5 which was the star of Goldfinger. Honda Civic Type R Mugen 2.2 revealed. But why bother?
Fri, 09 Sep 2011Honda Civic Type R Mugen 2.2 - will it sell? When Honda finally confirmed the Civic Type R Mugen for very limited production – just 20 were being made – back in 2009, we did comment that the price - £38,599 and a £12k premium over the stock Type R – did not auger well for sales. In the event Honda has only managed to shift sixteen of the original Type R Mugen, but despite that sales failure they have decided to punt out a more powerful – and inevitably more expensive – version of the Type R with a bored and stroke 2.2 litre version of the original 2.0 litre in the Type R – the Honda Civic Type R Mugen 2.2.
Infiniti Emerg-E concept
Tue, 28 Feb 2012Infiniti's third recent concept car, the Emerg-E, will debut at the Geneva motor show next week. Following the Essence of 2009 and last year's Etherea, the Emerg-E is the brand's first mid-engined car design. While the proportions of all three cars are very different (thanks to the Essence's front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout and the front-engined, front-wheel drive Etherea), their form language is shared.
