Concepts included the Alfa 8C, Renault Nepta, Hyundai Arnejs, Citroen C-Metisse, Skoda Joyster, VW Iroc, Lancia Delta HPE and Peugeot 908RC.

At just 2600mm in length and 1600mm wide, the Lotus supermini is even smaller than a Toyota iQ, but manages to match the Toyota’s 3+1 layout. The crucial aspect of the design is the aluminium spaceframe in the floor, which houses the batteries and electrical gubbins, while also providing stiffness and crash resistance.

As the exploratory name suggests, the Mercedes Marco Polo is for adventurous types who want to take their home with them on outdoor trips and camping holidays.
