MINI Rocketman could be heading for production – if BMW can find a chassis

The ‘Mini’ MINI Rocketman (pictured) could go in to production The MINI Rocketman Concept was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 as a smaller MINI than the one BMW were selling at the time, and it looked like BMW were considering going the smaller route to make the MINI more fun. But with the 2014 MINI now revealed, BMW has gone the opposite route by underpinning the new MINI with the UKL platform that will also underpin the next BMW 1 Series, and made the latest MINI even bigger than the last one. But it seems BMW still see mileage in a ‘Mini MINI’ and appear keen to find a way to make the Rocketman a production reality.

Toyota teases new 2014 Aygo city car

This is the initial teaser image of the new 2014 Toyota Aygo, set to make its first public appearance at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month. The Japanese firm is yet to reveal any details on its new city car, but we do know that it has once again been developed in conjunction with Peugeot and the French firm’s latest 108 compact urban hatchback. Nissan GT-R Nurburgring Record – the Video

The Nissan GT-R sets a Lap Record at the Nurburgring Nissan has set several quick times at the Nurburgring in the GT-R – much to the consternation of Porsche who have accused Nissan of cheating – and this record lap was set during marathon few days back in April, where the Nissan GT-R set a Nurburgring time of  7:26.7.
