Volvo to skip Tokyo Motor Show
Fri, 16 Jan 2009Volvo, the Swedish unit of Ford Motor Co., will not participate in the Tokyo Motor Show this fall. "We have evaluated our participation at motor shows for 2009 to see how we can make the most out of our resources, and this year we decided not to participate at Tokyo," Volvo spokeswoman Maria Bohlin said today in an e-mail. And now the UK is about to get – a very limited – public viewing of Jaguar’s new |F-Type Coupe. This coming Sunday – the 8th December – sees the Jaguar Academy of Sport Annual Awards at the Royal Opera House in London and, apart from the Sports Stars, the star of the night will be the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe.
Jaguar to build six brand-new E-Types

So much for the new F-Type proving popular… No, Jaguar hasn’t gone mad. It’s actually building six re-creation 'Lightweight' E-Types, with the aim of selling them to wealthy historic racing enthusiasts.
