Thu, 25 Jun 2009By James Popsys First Official Pictures 25 June 2009 09:58 BMW has announced its cleanest and most efficient 3-series ever – the 316d ES saloon. According to BMW, the 316d emits under 120g/km CO2, and sips fuel at a rate of 62.8mpg, giving it a theoretical range of over 800 miles on a single tank. It might say 316d on the boot badge, but the engine under the bonnet is actually a 2.0-litre diesel.
Chrysler 200C Revealed
Wed, 13 Oct 2010The Chrysler 200C - replacement for the Sebring Although the Chrysler Sebring is a car you can actually pop off to your dealer and buy in the UK, a chunk of readers on this side of the Pond will know it best from trips to the US as the ugly lump of iron they got lumbered with at the car rental desk. So when Chrysler tipped up to the Detroit Motor Show in 2009 with a 200C Concept it seemed clear that was what was coming to oust the Sebring.
McLaren P11 caught testing
Fri, 30 Jan 2009Proof of how far along the P11 is came today with pictures of the car out testing in chilly climes in Sweden (just like the next generation Porsche 911 (998) and the new Baby Rolls Royce, the RR4). McLaren P11 caught testing in snowy Sweden The McLaren P11 is a hand-built carbon composite 2 seater, mid engined car, with a target weight of only 1250kg. Power is likely to come from a Mercedes lump, and probably a tuned version of the 6.2 litre AMG found in the ’63s’, mated to an F1 style flappy-paddle gearbox.
