Lexus HS250h unveiled at Detroit auto show 2009

By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 12 January 2009 13:47 Lexus showed off its latest hybrid car at this week’s Detroit auto show 2009: the new HS250h. The new combination of letters and numbers confirm this is a new additional petrol-electric hybrid to sit alongside the existing models such as the GS450h, RX450h and LS600h. It’s shorter than, but as wide as, the Lexus IS and is in the compact executive mould.

Bertone ordered to auction six cars from museum collection

A selection of six cars forming part of the official museum collection of Carrozzeria Bertone will be auctioned off at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. Following the turbulence within the struggling design house in 2009 – including selling its manufacturing arm to the Fiat Group – the disbandment of the museum collection has been ordered by a bankruptcy court. The auction is also a symbolic action: it marks the first time that any Bertone vehicles have been offered for sale to the public.

Lincoln has unveiled its new MKC concept at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The brand's first-ever small vehicle, which signals its intention to enter the industry's fastest-growing segment, continues Lincoln's design language first seen in the MKZ. The signature split-wing grille integrates the headlamps and sits above a broad horizontal air intake and underbody protection while a large panoramic roof runs along the length of the car.
