Here is a near perfect pouch and books for a Euro spec italian  Ferrari 246 GTS from 1974 consisting of pouch, owners manual, parts manual, warranty and service book , 1973 dealer directory and stereo instructions.. Everything is in superb condition. The warranty book is made out for car 7150 issued by Nocenti Automobili Firenze.Nicely each book is also stamped with he issuing dealer - warranty card, owners manual, parts book and dealer directory. The registratino date is January 1974 and thus the dealer directory is for 1973. The dealer directory has had the Ferrari logo cut out from the inner page - something i have seen a few time s before and i have been thinking that possibly this was soemthing that the italian dealers would do  - dinos being thought of as their own brand as opposed to the other cars in the ferarri range.  The silk lining in the pouch needs a little glue to keep in please along the edges  - easily done but i prefer to leave it as it is for the next owner to see in original condition. the stereo fitting instructions are for a 'car technic model 30030' I will include free shipping in the final selling price. No reserve. Please contact me if you need any more photographs of this set of any other information. I am listing several different dino pouches and book sets over the next couple of days as well as various examples of dino tool sets.

As the world is only too well aware, GM has huge problems. In the real world it should have gone out of business, but in the political world that would probably be unacceptable to the American public. So it’s busy grovelling to Congress to acquire sufficient funding to stay alive until it can produce products the buying public might find worth having.

You might usually associate the Volkswagen Touareg with school-run mums whose furthest foray off-road is up the kerb and onto a wet field – this is something different, this is the new VW Race Touareg 3. That there is, and it’s the Race Touareg 2 that’s taken the chequered flag at the last two Dakar rallies, becoming the first diesel-powered winner in 2009. And after 2010’s 1-2-3 finish, the VW board decided it was onto a good thing and commissioned Volkswagen Motorsport to update its Touareg racer for the January 2011 race.

Will your next new car stop itself?

Last week in Park City, Utah, a group of us were discussing the chutzpah that some manufacturers have in charging hundreds of dollars for outboard mirrors that dip downward when the vehicle's placed in reverse. The consensus was, “Since the electric motors in the mirrors are already there, and the computers know the car's set to back up, it's only a line of code. A very expensive line of code.” The European Union seems to be thinking along the same lines.
