In 1975 Ferrari announced the 308 GTB was  to be launched at the Paris and London Motor shows of that year. Before the launch at these important motor shows the very first sales brochure accompanied by a letter and series of press photos was sent out to prefered clients and members of the press. These are those original documents. The letter is dated 26 September 1975 and is accompanied by 4 photos of the vetroresina GTB and the original sales brochure reference 111/75. The broshure is mostly printed in black and white with a cutaway drawing of the car in full colour featured on the centre pages. The inside and penultimate pages are onion skin paper and ther eis a little mottling on these due to age and storage conditions. The brochure quotes a weight of 2403lbs being i supposed written for a european vetroresina car. Air con, power windows and a radio are all quoted as extras. Tghis is a rare set of documents a set of which i have never seen offered for sale previously.

Infiniti M35 Hybrid: first official photos

Thu, 08 Oct 2009

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 08 October 2009 16:16 We've known it's coming, but here is the first look at Infiniti's new petrol electric exec: the M35 Hybrid. As signalled by the Essence concept car, Infiniti is keen to stress that its hybrid cars won't be just about saving pennies – they'll be fun to drive too. Sounds like a dig at sensible old Lexus to us.The new Infiniti M35 Hybrid will be the upmarket Nissan arm's first hybrid in its 20 years of building exec rivals to the default Audis, BMWs and Mercedes.

Maserati Ghibli

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

Maserati has unveiled the first images of the 2013 Ghibli ahead of its official debut next week at the Shanghai Auto Show. While the Ghibli badge has previously been reserved for coupés – both Giugiaro's 1967 original and Gandini's Biturbo-based 1992 Ghibli II – this is a four-door sports sedan to sit below the larger Quattroporte revealed in January at the North American International Auto Show. It's the first time the carmaker has built a car for the E-segment since the 1994 Quattroporte IV and is set to challenge high end of the Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5-series in AMG and M5 guises respectively.

Volkswagen CrossBlue Concept redesigned for LA Auto Show

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

Volkswagen has tweaked the CrossBlue Coupe Concept for the 2013 LA Auto Show after its appearance at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show. The concept car itself is based on the CrossBlue three-row crossover concept that we saw at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and given Volkswagen's persistence with the concept and its favorable reception it seems like it may be headed for production in the not too distant future. Even though it appeared as a seven-seat crossover concept in Detroit, Volkswagen has apparently reconsidered the vehicle's size, and decided to target crossovers one size smaller in this iteration of the CrossBlue.
