Possible Ferrari F70 tester spotted

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

The above photos of what very well might be a development mule for the next primo Ferrari —likely to be called the F70—were recently posted on the Ferrari 4/5 Competizone Facebook page. The future F70 is expected to be a front-runner in the competition between the very best cost-no-object supercars. The F70 will feature a 7.3-liter V12 coupled to a kinetic-energy-recovery system, a combination that will be good for 920 hp.

Hyundai Veloster Midship concept shows what the Veloster could be

In fact, when we  reviewed the Hyundai Veloster a couple of years ago with its 1.6 litre petrol engine, we wondered if Hyundai would have been better giving the Veloster a diesel lump instead, which would at least have made its paucity of power less of a problem with more torque to play with. And the Veloster Turbo isn’t a huge amount better, only offering 184 bhp and taking 8.4 seconds to get to 62mph; figures we would have expected from the base Veloster if it were to be a properly credible competitor in the sector.

Qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix saw the dominance of the Red Bulls set aside for the first time in a couple of years, as Webber and Vettel were pushed down to the third row behind a McLaren front row and former world champion Michael Schumacher alongside the Lotus of Grosjean in row two.
